Language: Official language is German.

Plugs: The plugs in Liechtenstein are types C and J. Type C has two round pins, and type J has three round pins.

Currency: Swiss Franc. The abbreviation is CHF. Euros are also accepted in many places. For a quick conversion check, my go to’s are Google and XE Currency Converter. XE also has a great app.

Cash or Card?: You should be able to use your card in stores and restaurants in tourist areas. But in the more rural parts, cash may be preferred.

Best Time To Visit: April to June and September to October has the best balance of good weather and smaller crowds. Liechtenstein is also gorgeous in the winter if you’re up for the snow!

How Long Should I Go For?: Liechtenstein is only 62 square miles, about the same size as Washington DC! If you’re up for checking out their trails, you can spend almost a week hiking and seeing everything.
