Language: The four official languages are Malay, English, Tamil, and Singaporean Mandarin. English is widely spoken throughout the country.

Plugs: The plugs in Singapore are type G. Type G has three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern. You will also sometimes see type C which has two round pins.

Currency: Singapore Dollar. The abbreviation is SGD. For a quick conversion check, my go to’s are Google and XE Currency Converter. XE also has a great app.

Cash or Card?: Cards are primarily used for most purchases all over the country. I did find it useful to have a little bit of cash on me.

Best Time To Visit: All year long! The absolute best time is from February to April. Shoulder seasons are December to February and April to June. Summers here are extremely hot and humid.
