Jordan

Language: The official language in Jordan is Arabic. You will find that most will know English in the bigger cities and should have no problem getting around.

Plugs: The plugs in Jordan are type C, D, and G. Type C is the plug that has two round parallel pins, type D has three round triangular pins, and type G that has three rectangular pins in a triangular pattern .

Currency: Jordanian Dinar. The abbreviation is JOD. For a quick conversion check, my go to’s are Google and XE Currency Converter. XE also has a great app.

Cash or Card?: Cards are accepted at restaurants, hotels, and larger shops. Smaller shops may prefer to use cash. If you are planning on going to the local souks, cash is essential.

Best Time To Visit: The best time to visit is in the spring, March to May, or autumn, September to November, when the temperature is a lot more comfortable.
